Smala Brussels

Smala Farming is an urban and agroecological market gardening project based in Anderlecht, Brussels.

The collective grows organic, locally sourced vegetables with a sustainable, community-focused and environmentally respectful approach.

The space also serves as a place for meeting and sharing around food, nature and urban farming.

Smala Farming organises a weekly market, vegetable box subscriptions, volunteering days (“Les mains dans la terre”), field visits, convivial moments at the guinguette, as well as educational and community activities around market gardening and ecology.

Smala promotes a collective, non-judgemental and diversity-conscious approach, where everyone can take part in activities, learn and share in a welcoming and caring environment.
