La Démence

La Démence is one of the most celebrated LGBTQIA+ events in Europe and an iconic fixture of Brussels queer nightlife.

Founded in the late 1980s, La Démence brings together thousands of people from across Europe every month for large electro, house and techno nights held primarily at the Fuse.

The event is particularly well known for its international DJs, performances, visual shows and festive, inclusive atmosphere.

La Démence organises monthly nights, special editions at Easter and for its anniversary, as well as international events such as “The Cruise”, a festive queer cruise.

The nights include DJ sets, drag performances, shows, chill spaces and community events around LGBTQIA+ club culture.
