EMWA Refuges
EMWA Refuges is a housing and support service for LGBTQIA+ young people aged 18 to 26 who are victims of family discrimination in Belgium.
The organisation offers emergency solutions and temporary accommodation to help young people facing family breakdown, exclusion or danger to regain stability and independence.
The service provides social and administrative support, help with finding housing, as well as guidance towards healthcare, education, employment and social assistance.
Young people can be housed in transitional accommodation located in Liège, Verviers and Charleroi, amongst other places.
The locations of the properties are kept confidential in order to protect the residents
